Rebates

Kate Wengier, APD is registered with Medicare and Private Health Insurance Providers.

Medicare does not cover appointments with a dietitian unless referred by a G.P. Ask your doctor if a Medicare rebate applies to you. If applicable, some out of pocket fees may still apply.

Rebates may apply from major health insurers depending on your policy. This rebate may be up to 85% of the scheduled fee.  Ask your provider whether dietetics is covered in your ‘extras’ policy. Some funds do not cover email or phone consultations.
